Monitoring

Research sites need to be visited on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the study protocol, to check and collect data and to resolve any issues. Pleiad works with the client at the outset to agree the frequency of these monitoring visits and the guidelines for data-checking. These include what data will be checked against source data (e.g. medical records). We build excellent interpersonal relationships with site staff, ensuring timely turn around of queries and facilitating the recruitment of patients and the monitoring process. Frequent site contact (telephone, visits) ensures that the site staff feel part of the clinical research team and therefore perform optimally for our client’s research.
