Based on our extensive experience of selecting optimal
sites for efficient patient recruitment, Pleiad Devices works with the
client to ensure that the best clinical research centers are brought on
board. This involves understanding the client’s desired mix of key
opinion leaders (who will help with marketing in the future) and
“workhorse” clinicians (who recruit well but may not be as well known
in their field). We identify target centers initially from our own
knowledge and Pleiad’s database, supplemented by searches of the
medical literature, and then prepare a short list for discussion with
the client. Telephone interviews are conducted with the selected
centers and appropriate sites are then visited and inspected by our
experienced site selection personnel. Following this, a list of
recommended sites is then provided to the client for approval.
