The Pleiad Devices Team has a wealth of experience in
clinical research and the medical devices sector. In addition we have
experience of dealing with combination products, drug delivery
technologies and biologics. The team is organized across the two main
office sites, one in the USA (Cambridge, MA) and one in the UK (Perth,
Scotland). Client liaison is the responsibility of the senior
management team so any project-related issues not swiftly resolved at
operational level are dealt with immediately and effectively by the
team below. Each clinical research project is allocated a project
manager, who deals with the day-to-day management of the project.

Helen
Colquhoun, MD, Founder and CEO, leads the team in North America and
is based in the US. She is responsible for business development,
business systems and liaison with North American clients. Helen also
oversees quality control for North American projects.

Julia
Edgar, Founder and COO, leads the team in Europe and is based in
the UK. She is a scientist with a background in business and clinical
research. Julia is responsible for client liaison in Europe and
oversees quality control in Europe. Within Pleiad, Julia is responsible
for financial management and staff.

Diane
Whitham, VP - Clinical Research Services divides her time between
the USA
and Europe, managing the clinical department and all clinical
operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standard operating
procedures, providing training and assisting with project management
when required.

Carol
Steedman, VP - Data Management Services is responsible for clinical
data management, safety database management and data collation. Carol
is based in the UK.
