Being Green

We aim to reduce our carbon footprint by doing the following, in the belief that lots of "small" actions can add up to a "large" impact.

• all paper is recycled (confidential documents are professionally shredded and recycled)
• double sided printing is mandatory for all staff, unless there is a regulatory reason for single-sided printing
• printing paper copies of electronic documents is discouraged
• toner cartridges are recycled
• all glass, plastic, cardboard, and cans are recycled
• the use of paper towels and disposable utensils/mugs/food containers is strongly discouraged
• all electrical appliances and machines, including computer monitors, are switched off each night
• our annual travel CO2 burden is calculated and offset with tree planting
